Fall is upon us and with it all kinds of pumpkins. Most often I eat them in soups, or roasted. I remove the seeds as I can and they often end up in the trashcan. However I quite like them in cocktails and they are a good alternative for chips. I looked it up on the internet and I found that it was quite easy to prepare them. Just read.
I prepared them with tandoori spices mix, because it smells very good in the flat and because I had some, but I think it can be done with anything.
Tandoori grilled pumpkin seeds
- The seeds from one pumpkin
- 1 tea spoon of salt
- 2 tea spoons of tandoori spice mix
Clean well the seeds and let them dry well.
Mix the salt and the spices.
Spread the seeds on a dish going to the oven, sprinkle with the salt and spice mix.
Cook for 20 minutes in an oven at 180°C.
That’s it. Keep them in an hermetically sealed box.
